Phytic Acid Using phytic acid and glycolic acid, our Phytic Acid Peel exfoliates, blocks melanin from being synthesized in the epidermis, and leaves you with a radiant, unblemished glow you can get no other way. Salicylic Acid Although salicylic acid is often used in over-the-counter acne medicine, we've found that it also works wonderfully in facial peels. As a beta hydroxy acid (BHA), salicylic acid is lipophilic, meaning it can dissolve in oil and penetrate into pores where excess sebum and debris collect.
